Ok, let’s talk about this new hype in Singapore: Eggslut!
My friends and I (4 of us) were quite lucky for not having to queue for hours. One friend came earlier (😘😘) at 9.52 am, so she queued for 10 minutes before getting seats for us. The rest of us just rushed in, passing the queue line 💃💃.
What we ordered:
🥓Fairfax Sandwich with add on bacon $15.00
🥩Fairfax Sandwich with add on beef patty $16.00
🧀Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Sandwich $12
🥔Truffle Hasbrowns $4.50
☕️ White (Coffee + Milk-Hot) $5.50
💦Bottled Water $3.50
The drink came out quite fast, but the food took forever. We waited for more than 30 minutes for the food to come. I guess because they were still new and not yet accustomed to overwhelmed orders.
I enjoyed having Fairfax Sandwich with extra bacon. The brioche was warm and nice, the eggs were delicious, the bacon was cooked perfectly, and the sriracha mayo was on point. The beef angus patty and the bacon/egg/cheese sandwich were so-so though. Not bad but not fantastic either.
Truffle Hashbrowns were not my favorite. They were way too salty and greasy.
They were very helpful and friendly.
Worth to try but I won’t queue for hours for this. Maybe come and visit in a few months time when the hype has died down.
