Healthier lifestyle is important, so I try my best to do regular exercise and have a plant-based diet at least once a week.
Today I prepared my ‘Scrambled Paneer Tacos’: scrambled paneer topped with some eggless scramble + plant-based cheddar, then wrapped with some homemade naans.
Yes you read it correctly: Eggless Scramble. herbyvorefoods Eggless Scramble is made from pea and packed in a small glass bottle. So easy to prepare: shake it, pour it, scramble it, serve it! They do taste like eggs!! So amazed! 😍
And now let’s talk about the Pea Paneer. No soy, gluten free, no trans fat, lactose free, no preservatives, but high in calcium, protein and dietary fibre. So great right? 🥰.
And here is another interesting fact. herbyvorefoods is a Singapore based company, under Agrocorp International, that launched the World’s first sustainable vegan paneer, plant based cheddar, cheese spread, and egg. Isn’t it cool??!!

For the filling:
125 gr Pea Paneer from herbyvorefoods, crumbled
1/4 tsp cumin seeds
1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tbsp chopped tomatoes
Pinch of turmeric powder
3/4 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp red chili flakes
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp olive oil
1. Pour the oil onto a non-stick pan (medium heat).
2. Add the cumin seeds and let them splutter.
3. Add the chopped onions+ginger garlic paste and fry till fragrant.
4. Add the chopped tomatoes until they turn soft.
5. Then add the crumbled paneer and the rest of ingredients.
6. Cook for about 1 to 2 minutes maximum.
7. Serve it.
