Experimenting with new ingredients and recipe is fun! This time I cook Baked Vegetable Tempura with Soft-boiled Egg in Hokkien Noodle Soup using kangkangnoodles and kikkoman.singapore tempura and noodle sauce.

Baked Vegetable Tempura is as crispy and yummy as the fried version, and healthier too 😉. Instead of using udon, Hokkien round noodles are a great replacement too. Both has the chewy texture which I love. As the soup base, instead of boiling kombu and bonito flakes which takes quite sometimes, the tempura and noodle sauce works like magic. It saves lots of cooking time, while still brings out the perfect umami flavor. It is also great for the easy dipping sauce for my baked tempura. What’s not to love? 🥰
