Do you like Shanghai Sheng Jian Bao (Pan-Fried Crispy Pork-Soup Buns)?
We tried the one dingtele (Bukit Timah) a Shanghainese Restaurant that opened recently opposite Beauty World.
I found that the skin was a little bit too thick but still very crispy (so I don’t really mind) and the filling , especially with the prawn, was delicious.
The Pork Chop on the fried rice was super crispy and yummy! The fried rice was so-so (a bit too lumpy).
The Signature Steamed Pork-Soup Buns were okay too.
The Oriental Wonton with Black Vinegar and Chilli Oil was delightful. I could Imagine eating this with some noodles.
For the desserts, I preferred the Crispy Rice Dumplings with Black Sesame Paste, as compared to the Steamed Chinese Style Sweet Cakes.
Prices were very reasonable too.
Will I be back? Yes!!
