Baked some banana bread for our breakfast today.
Was still sleepy so I forgot to add some sugar 🤪. The result though was so satisfying, so I kept this new recipe 😉.

FOOLPROOF BANANA LOAF
3 ripe bananas, mashed using a fork
1/3 cup melted butter
1 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1 vanilla pod or 1 tsp vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups plain flour
1 egg
1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup peanut butter chips

METHOD
Mix all ingredients in a bowl using a whisk (just until all incorporated, do not overmix).
Pour into a loaf pan, lined with a baking paper.
Bake it on a preheated oven at 170°C for 45-50 minutes (check by poking it with a satay stick, if the stick comes out clean, the bread is ready).
Transfer it to a wire rack to cool down, before slicing.
